A few days ago they were just a baby.

There they are.  Getting ready for school.  So small in structure to wear that 'big' school bag.  Admittedly we all know the bag gets grown into. By the time they finally fit it your child needs a new one the first one looks like it has gone through a demolision derby and now is ready to be either framed for the fame wall or scrapped as not worth putting another piece of tape or hold together glue, on it. So for the first bag wait off for a while and before you know it you will be anchiously waiting for them to grow into that new school bag.




Besides - that childs independance is such a wonderful thing to gain. They have trouble gaining it if we, as caring parents- shove them into their oversized school bag and carry them to school. Believe me the temptation will be there. Enjoy these small pieceful emotion packed moments in time.



Having waved good by, given them a fast cuddle [again] go and meet friends at a cafe. Have coffee time. Factor in and action plan that officially includes a a good cry, hug and laughter time with all going through same boat.
 
Enjoy this moment as the pattern has now been set.  From this moment in time you will be anxiously waiting their return.

Make the most of it.

Why is it that in a world where there seems to be not a lot of food to around people are not making the most of what they have actually got? Many people have the following: A small amount of space. More space than they know what to do with. Scape's of food that are able to be used as ... alternative recipes , compost , animal food . Stores of food items that someone else can use. Excess plant life in and around their home. Time. Spare clothes. To be disposed off ... why not recycle it ? An empty car seat as you are travel bound someplace. Knowledge and skills. Something to volunteer with. Alternative ways of doing something with something else. The list is just a sample of what there is out there that is spare and going to waste.  Why waste it? What An Entrance

Skipping onto the stage.. what an entrance. So typically an inner child thing to do. Adrian had the judges eating out of his hands. Then the audience cottoned on. Took a while then the lights went on.... Does not matter what Adrian Romoff plays he is right there achieving it. So he's skipped about 7 years of schooling and plays like a whizz kid. Humor, laughter and the fun of being a child still is within.  If there is something that Adrian does not know he does know!
